Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge will be offering free guided Bird Walks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each week starting on January 15th 2013 and continuing until February 27th 2013. The tours are free to the public however a reservation is required. Beginner and experienced bird watchers, young and old, are welcome to come out and enjoy the beauty of birds and nature itself. The walks are limited to 12 people per tour and will consist of a 1-2 hour round trip walk on the Jeff Friend Trail. The walks will start at 8:00am and will meet at the Jeff Friend Trail parking lot. We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. We encourage you to bring binoculars but they are not necessary to enjoy the walk. Restroom facilities are available at the refuge office.
