| Gondola rides at Snowmass and Aspen Mountain lead to panoramic views of the Elk Mountains. Pack a picnic lunch, hike among wildflowers, or take a guided nature walk. Summit: Friday through Sunday, take the Elk Camp lift to the 11,300-foot summit where you can embrace views of the infamous Maroon Bells or enjoy a hike back down to the Elk Camp Gondola on our new Summit trail. After you've worked up an appetite, have lunch on-mountain at Elk Camp Cafe or dinner in base village at Sneaky's Tavern. The café is open daily 10:30am-3:45pm. The gondola travels 2.5 miles and more than 3,000 vertical feet from the heart of Aspen to the 11,212-foot summit of Aspen Mountain. At the top, bask in the spectacular panoramic views of Aspen and the Elk Mountain Range, dine at the Sundeck, hike and discover adventure.
