The 113-acre Rock Bottom Ranch is a working educational ranch and nature preserve located just outside of Basalt, along the banks of the Roaring Fork River. RBR serves as the mid-valley center for the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) environmental education programs, as well as a sustainable farm complete with community gardens and a variety of farm animals.
