Kids' Activities in Beaver Creek

Beaver Creek Children's Museum
The Beaver Creek Children's Museum educates children and adults alike in a fun and interactive way. In addition to featured exhibits, the museum offers special presentations such as educational workshops, star-gazing nights, visits from Smokey the Bear and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
The Children's Museum is located in the village next to the Beaver Creek Hiking Center. Hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00am–4:00pm, from early July through early September. Admission is free. Call 970.926.5855 or email Info@BlueCreek.com for more information.
Beaver Creek Mountain Base
A number of summer activities offer family-friendly fun at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain. The high-flying bungee trampoline is open to both kids and adults (30-200 lbs). An 18-hole miniature golf course offers wacky putting greens and incredible views of Beaver Creek Mountain. The climbing wall is a safe and exciting challenge for all ages, with helpful wall attendants, a variety of routes to the top, and climbers securely roped to a state-of-the-art belay system.
Each of these activities opens Memorial Day Weekend and runs through either Labor Day or mid-September. Hours of operation are 9:00am-5:00pm daily for the bungee trampoline and climbing wall, while the mini-golf remains open until dark. Call 970.845.7531 for more information.
Nottingham Lake & Park
Nottingham Lake is the focal point of the 48-acre Harry A. Nottingham Park. Located at the base of Beaver Creek in Avon, the park includes a children's playground, picnic tables and grills. The paved jogging path encircles the lake and is lined with benches. Four tennis courts, three basketball courts and two sand volleyball courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Two athletic fields are available to rent. Fishing in Nottingham Lake is permitted with a proper Colorado Fishing License. For more information, call 970.748.4086.
Western Family Night at 4 Eagle Ranch
Western Family Night includes a bbq buffet dinner, live musical entertainment and horse-drawn hay wagon rides. Families can play horseshoes and volleyball, try steer head roping, and toast marshmallows around a campfire at 4 Eagle Ranch. Western Family Night is offered from 5:00-9:00pm most Wednesday evenings throughout July and August. No reservations are necessary. Call 970.926.3372 for availability and information.
