An assortment of unique jewelry boutiques, casual-wear shops and souvenir stores line Main Street Breck. At the corner of Ski Hill and Main Street is Goods, where you will find winter wear and shoes you won't find anywhere else.
There are unique jewelry shops, like Breckenridge Jewelers on the south side. Step into Cabin Fever in the center of town on Main for souvenirs. And, of course, you must return with a t-shirt from one of the numerous shops, like Mountain Tees. Breckenridge also has a fabulous arts district, in the center of town, displaying art from many of the gifted locals as well as well-known artists from around the world. If you time your trip right, you may arrive for one of Breckenridge's world class events. The International Snow Sculpting Championships are held each January and are located just one block from Elk Ridge at the Riverwalk Center.
Gaze as sculptors from around the globe carve giant masterpieces out of 20-ton blocks of snow. Also at the Riverwalk Center are plays, comedy shows and concerts including performances from the National Repertory Orchestra. Or come for Oktoberfest when Main Street is closed off for fun, dancing and beer! In June, the Breckenridge Festival of Film hosts filmmakers and celebrities from around the world. There is also the Great Rubber Duck Race, Breckenridge Wine Festival, Breckenridge Beer Festivals and the world famous Ullr Fest in January.
