If you time your trip right, you may arrive for one of Breckenridge's world class events. The International Snow Sculpting Championships are held each January and are located just one block from Elk Ridge at the Riverwalk Center.

Gaze as sculptors from around the globe carve giant masterpieces out of 20-ton blocks of snow. Also at the Riverwalk Center are plays, comedy shows and concerts including performances from the National Repertory Orchestra. Or come for Oktoberfest when Main Street is closed off for fun, dancing and beer! In June, the Breckenridge Festival of Film hosts filmmakers and celebrities from around the world.
