Gerardo is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving eight years and staying in Colorado after leaving  the USAF.  Gerardo holds an Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering and Instructional Development and Measurement, both from CCAF.  Gerardo got started in the Hospitality Industry in 1993 as the Director of Operations for Mountain Resorts for a Contract Labor Company that provided staffing to all the major resorts in Eagle & Summit Counties.  Keystone Resorts was next, in 1996, with a 4 years as Director of Housekeeping at The Keystone Lodge, the only Preferred Hotel in Summit County.  Intrawest –Copper Mountain was the next challenge with over 1,000 condos and private homes in their inventory.  Finally, East- West Resorts, later to be acquired by Resort Quest, proved to be the next chapter with (9) years of service, starting in 2001 as Director of Housekeeping based at The Hyatt@ Main Street Station.
