| Things are quite clear early in the morning in the South Park Valley located high in the Central Rockies. You will begin the flight at 9,000 feet in ideal surrounding for ballooning. Vast rolling hills, panoramic views and lots of wildlife will set the stage for what you will be able to see in flight. Enjoy hot coffee and snacks at the launch site as you watch the balloons inflate and be prepared for flight. After you climb aboard, the pilot will give flight instructions and a quick briefing. As the balloon fills with hot air, you will lift off effortlessly. Enjoy the soft, peaceful ride as you fly close above the tree tops and then climb up to several thousand feet above the ground. During your hour-long flight, the pilots will describe landmarks and the history of ballooning. When you float your way back to solid ground, the balloons will be packed up, and you will return to the launch site for a traditional champagne toast followed by a sit-down breakfast with everything from bacon and eggs to fresh pastries. You will be presented with a pictorial DVD of your flight and a commemorative champagne glass. | ||||
