Lake Dillon Activities Breckenridge, CO

Lake Dillon at 9,017 feet, spans 3,300 acres and 25 miles of shoreline. The lake is surrounded by majestic snow capped peaks, fun wooded islands to explore and great picnic areas. Lake Dillon is just a few miles away from Breckenridge in the town of Frisco.

Frisco Bay Marina hosts all the sail boats and offers sailboat lessons, rentals (kayaks, canoes and paddleboats), tours, water taxi and has a Bar & Grill.

Sailing Lessons

Sailing lessons are given by the Windrider of the Rockies located at the Marina. They have a friendly ASA certified staff that will help you get your feet wet to sailing. If you are already an experienced sailor you can take a verbal sailing quiz that will get you on your way! They also offer certification courses, and team building courses that would be perfect for any groups or business retreats.

Kayak or Canoe Lake Dillon

If huge whitewater isn't your favorite then paddle your way to Lake Dillon. It is one of the largest lakes in the county and is popular with fisherman, sailors, and boaters. Enjoy the north part of the lake with islands and calm water. You can rent your choice of boat directly from the Marina.

Rentals

Enjoy the mountain air and cool water with the different boat rental options the Marina offers. All rentals are available in June.

• Boats: Fish the day away with a fishing boat rental suited for 4 people. Explore the lake with a Runabout (like a speedboat) that will fit 6 people. Or really get the party going in a 12 person Pontoon boat that will let you soak in the Colroado sunshine in style.
• Paddle Boats: If you are up for a little exercise with sun on your back, explore the lake by paddle boat! Once all your curiosity has been satisfied head back to the Marina for a cocktail at the Bar & Grill!
• Kayaks and Canoes: Explore the inner-lake islands up close!
• Take a Tour: Hear the history of the Lake Dillon and all its secrets with a guided tour!
