25th Annual Mustang Round Up |  | |||||
| More than 450 Mustang owners from Colorado Mustang Clubs will convene in Steamboat for a weekend of fun-filled events, including the Scenic Mountain Tour, Autocross and Show 'n Shine Car Show.
Activities will include a scenic mountain tour, auto cross, Friday night social, Show n' Shine Car Show and awards breakfast. Spectators are welcome at the Meadows parking lot located at the corner of Mt. Werner Road and Pine Grove Road for Friday's Autocross. Over 180 Ford Mustangs compete in this timed event. Saturday's Show n' Shine is a car lovers dream located in downtown Steamboat Springs. 2013 Schedule: Thursday June 13th (1-4PM) Meadows Parking Lot Scenic Mountain Tour: The kick-off event is a tour of the countryside surrounding Steamboat Springs. This is not a speed event, no cost to participate--but sign up is necessary, and prizes will be awarded. Friday June 14th (7:30am-4:30pm) Meadows Parking Lot Autocross: There will be two sessions of the autocross, morning and afternoon. The event is limited to 150 drivers, each completing 3 timed runs. Trophies will be awarded Saturday at noon at the Show n' Shine. Safety regulations will be enforced. See Mustang Roundup website for more details. Saturday June 15th (10am-3pm) Lincoln Ave, Downtown Steamboat Springs Show n' Shine: The car show will take place on Lincoln Ave in downtown Steamboat Springs. Cars will be judged on Cleanliness, Craftsmanship and Quality. Come by and take a look at the beautiful cars! |
