Biking in the Steamboat Ski Area (US Forest Service land) ranges from easy to challenging trails. For a fee, you can ride the Gondola up to Thunderhead Lodge and begin your hike or bike there. Bike Passes will be available for pickup at the summer ticket office. Mountain bike tickets are valid all day, weather permitting. All mountain bikes must have ticket attached to ride the Gondola.
