Calf Scramble and Ram Scramble at the Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series.
A great way for kids to feel like a cowboy is to enjoy two of the more exciting events at the Pro Rodeo Series. The kid’s calf scramble, for kids ages 6-12, is a race where a calf is let out into the arena and the kids chase it to grab the ribbon off its tail. Or, the ram scramble for kids ages 5 and under. The young ones compete the same as the big kids; however gentle sheep are used instead of calves.
Howler Alpine Slide
Kids will get giddy once they see the thrill of the Howler Alpine Slide. Safely zoom down 2400 feet of alpine slide goodness as you hoot and holler your way through Steamboat's only alpine slide. This is a great activity for kids but for big kids as well!
