Steamboat's 5 Golf Courses
Rollingstone Ranch Golf Club
Established in 1974, the Rollingstone Ranch Golf Club Championship Golf Course features stunning panoramic views of the lush Yampa Valley, Flat Tops Mountains, Fish Creek Canyon and the Steamboat Ski Area. Fish Creek winds majestically through seven of the holes, while abundant groves of aspen trees protect the bluegrass fairways. Seventy-two bunkers challenge golfers on the 6,902-yard course that can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels
Haymaker Golf Course
The Keith Foster-designed Haymaker is open annually from May to October. The treeless, links-style course has been labeled an "environmental wonder." Haymaker preserves the open space and the course itself was molded to resemble the contours of the surrounding valley and mountains. This 233 acre, city-owned public golf course features at least four sets of tees per hole, playing from 5,059 to 7,308 yards. It also has a substantial practice area—driving range, sand trap, chipping and putting green.
Catamount Golf Ranch and Club
In his intricate design, Tom Weiskopf took exceptional care to map out every detail in the course at Catamount Ranch and Club. Every hole has a story, dramatic and compelling. The 14th hole runs along Walton Creek, offering stunning vistas through old stands of Douglas fir. The 17th hole crowns a ridge with an 80-foot drop, looking away over the Flat Tops Wilderness Area. As you play through meadows, hayfields, rock formations, groves of aspen, brush oak and cottonwood, you feel the presence of extraordinary natural grandeur.
Steamboat Golf Course
Founded in 1964, the Steamboat Golf Club is the oldest established golf course in the valley. The 9-hole course borders the Yampa River featuring beautiful views of the valley and Steamboat Ski Area at Mt. Werner. The Steamboat Golf Club is family oriented and affordable.
Yampa Valley Golf Course
In the heart of Northwest Colorado lies the Yampa Valley Golf Course, located in Craig, CO. The most affordable 18 hole facility in the Yampa Valley! First opened in 1968, the Yampa Valley Golf Course lies beside the lazy Yampa River and plays through and over 240 acres of cottonwoods, wetlands, native grasses and sage. A golf course where everyone is welcome and treated like family!
