Steamboat Springs Weather & Snow Report
Steamboat Springs, CO receives an average snowfall of 343". The Steamboat Ski Area's abundant snowfall is a result of the resort's location within the Park Range, which is the first significant barrier in the Northern Colorado Rockies to storms arriving from the Pacific. These storms produce some of the lightest, driest, fluffiest snow in the world, fondly referred to as Champagne Powder® snow.
Spring ski conditions in Steamboat change on a daily, even hourly, basis due to weather and unseasonably warm temperatures. Please Check for daily updates.
