The Howelsen Ice Arena
The Howelsen Ice Arena is located in downtown Steamboat just a few blocks from Lincoln Ave. This beautiful arena holds 600 spectators and has a warm heated lobby that is perfect for getting all ready to skate! The arena holds many year round programs including kids lessons and drop-in hockey!

Directions to Howelsen Ice Arena
Take our free Wyndham Vacation Rentals' Shuttle downtown to the ice rink! No hassles! Or if you have a vehicle, get on US40 West into Steamboat keep driving until you enter downtown. Turn left (South) on 5th street at stoplight. Proceed down 5th Street, across river and railroad tracks. Turn left at Rodeo Grounds and the Ice Arena is on your right. Call 871-1152 for directions.
