Lion Square Lodge Renovations
Lion Square Lodge is excited to announce renovations on the South & East Buildings began in the Spring of 2012.
SOUTH BUILDING - RENOVATION PROJECT 2012
The $4 million Lion Square Lodge South Building renovation project is scheduled as a 7 month project, commencing on April 16, 2012 through November 20, 2012. This project will be completed in unison with a major renovation of the East Building that will also start on April 16, 2012 and will take 13 months to complete.
Building Renovation to Include:
- Exterior upgrades to include the addition of decorative roof gables, stucco improvements, exterior painting, balcony upgrades and a roof replacement. The exterior upgrades will tie the South Building to the recently renovated North Building. The colors and roof elements will have common characteristics.
- 40 Solar Panels will be added to the roof to supply hot water for domestic use, pools and hot tubs.
- Square footage will be added to several units on the South side of the building.
- An additional elevator will be added in the main lobby that will serve all 7 floors. This elevator will work in unison with our existing elevator which will also be upgraded.

EAST BUILDING RENOVATION PROJECT 2012-2013
The $11 million Lion Square Lodge East Building renovation project is scheduled to take approximately 13 months and will commence on April 16, 2012, opening again in July, 2013. This project will be completed in unison with a major renovation of the South Building that will also start on April 16, 2012 and will take 7 months to complete.
Building Renovation to Include:
- Exterior upgrades to include the addition of decorative roof gables, stucco improvements, exterior painting, balcony upgrades and a roof replacement. The exterior upgrades will tie the East Building to the design elements of the recently renovated North Building. The colors and roof elements will have common characteristics.
- Four new elevators will be installed in new lobby vestibules located on the west side of the building.
- The addition of ski yard stairs for all units, allowing owners and guests to access the ski yard directly from their units.
- All units will have additional square footage added. The living areas will be enlarged.
- We anticipate many owners will make substantial upgrades to their unit interiors.
- As part of the project, all units will have doors and windows replaced to maximize light and views.
