| The 4th of July Cowboys' Roundup Days is a classic Steamboat Springs community celebration that you do not want to miss! For over 100 years, Steamboat celebrates the Yampa Valley's Western Heritage with events for the entire family. The Steamboat Springs 4th of July Parade is the epitome of down home, small town parades with plenty of horses, fire trucks, kids on bikes, pets, vintage tractors, candy and humorous parade floats!
Enjoy the breathtaking fireworks display at historic Howelsen Hill which holds the distinction of being one of the country's oldest ski areas in continuous use. This nighttime extravaganza will begin at dark, roughly 9:30 P.M. For the best viewing location, you can get front row seats at the base of Howelsen Hill.
