Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the country's first self-governed village for freed slaves, called Mitchelville. Featured performance of "Becoming Harriet Tubman" by Natalie Daise and the Hilton Head High School chorus will perform gospel music. Produced by The Mitchelville Preservation Project and Lavon Steven. Proceeds are for the groups mission of creating a "Freedom Park" commemorating the site.
