Nine youth instrumentalists, from throughout the Southeast, will be selected as finalists for the 2013 Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra's Youth Concerto Competition.

Since 2000, the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra has sponsored a Youth Concerto Competition with a purpose to provide talented young musicians the opportunity to perform standard orchestral repertoire from memory before an audience. The winners have the opportunity to be soloists with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra.
