Reservations required. 8:00PM - 11:00PM Location: The Jazz Corner, The Village at Wexford Reggie Deas, born in Newberry, SC, attributes his musical success to his father who was also a singer and percussionist, and his mother who encouraged him to sing at every given opportunity. He began taking serious interest in singing while attending Newberry College on a football scholarship. In 1996, pursuing his first love, singing, he decided to join a Savannah blues band called The Bluesonics and sang with them for four years. He then moved to Hilton Head Island in 1999 and joined Nu World Beat which eventually led to the formation of Deas-Guyz in 2001. | |||||||||
