Red, White and Blues Week
| Start your summer with a bang in Pensacola. Red, White and Blues week begins with the Fourth of July and ends after the Blue Angels air show July 9. Events and activities for all ages abound during this fun-filled week, so grab the whole family or get together with your friends and enjoy the festivities.
The largest Fourth of July fireworks display on the Gulf Coast is hosted by area Sertoma organizations this year. The show will sparkle over Pensacola Bay, preceded by live entertainment on the Bayfront stage, Mass Konfuzion at 4 p.m. and August Body at 6:30 p.m. Also, don't miss the fun happening earlier that day. Free children's activities, arts-and-crafts and food will be offered from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in historic Seville Square. Always a festive celebration, Pensacola Beach is hosting a fireworks show over Santa Rosa Sound at dusk. On Perdido Key, Perdido Beach Resort is hosting the lively Tip Tops at 6 p.m. and the world-famous Flora-Bama is hosting a fireworks celebration and live music at 8 p.m. Sit back and sink your toes in the sand, as the shows will be visible from virtually any spot on the beach. The Blue Angels will perform their annual air show on Pensacola Beach July 9. Watch this breathtaking show as the jets whiz through the sky, performing jaw-dropping stunts. Hit the beach a day early to see the pilots' dress rehearsal. Local musician, Sammi Moore, will perform at Quietwater Shell on the boardwalk from 6 to 8 p.m. If you can't make it to the beach, you can visit Naval Air Station Pensacola most Tuesdays and Wednesdays to watch the Blue Angels practice.
