The classic tale of Ichabod Crane and The Headless Horseman got a recent remake into a full-length, original musical production for YouTheatre. Keeping all the superstition and mystery of the original short story by Washington Irving, “Sleepy Hollow” is set in a small village in colonial New York, circa 1790. Mysteries abound in the deep woods surrounding the settlement, leading superstitions to sometimes get the better of the inhabitants.

“Sleepy Hollow” had its world premiere in the fall of 2009 at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. It received the 2009 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Musical Theatre Award.
