Resort Features: Gulf Place is quiet and peaceful (no high rises, traffic or congestion) yet easily accessible to Destin and Panama City's many entertainment. Santa Rosa is the perfect place to RELAX! As you pull into Gulf Place, you can feel the stress leave you, and a calming peace replaces it. The soft white sugary sand beach is located across the street, with three walk-overs for Gulf Place guests. The Gulf itself is warm and welcoming, and in the sunshine, is several shades of teal and turquoise-similar to the Caribbean in color. Gulf Place has its own shops, and several restaurants. There is Miss Lucille's Coffee-Shop, The Smiling Fish Cafe, and Amore Pizzeria, where you can dine outside. Also, there is an Amphitheatre where there are concerts, and a large grassy area where the kids can play - don't forget to pack a frisbee! The bike paths are incredible, you can ride to Seaside (five miles away)- there is a bike rental shop in Gulf Place or Big Daddy's will bring rental bikes to your door.
