The Good and Not So Good
The photos on the website are exactly as the unit appears. The project is showing some age but seems to be well maintained. The view was fantastic and we loved being on the first floor. It was just a few steps away from the stairs going down to the beach. The unit is next to the parking lot and airconditioners so the view from the side windows was not good but at least light came through to brighten the living room. The swimming pool is pretty small and is on the parking lot side of the project but that is not why you go to a place like this. The fan in the masterbedroom was noisy. There were no paper towels and the bars of soap were tiny. There was not someone on duty at the office all the time. Any phone calls to the management were just forwarded to the RQ offices. They wanted you to haul your trash to the dumpsters in the parking lot when leaving and run the dishwasher. Really! Housekeeping does not come to the unit while you are there so you must go through management if you need anything. Overall, we really liked it for the location and would book here again.

Your feedback is important to us and we will most certainly pass on the comments to the appropriate departments, as well as the unit owners. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful view at Crystal Sands! We have addressed the noisy fan in the bathroom with our maintenance staff. We are also working keeping the office open 7 days a week next year. Unlike a hotel, staying in a vacation rental guests get the advantage of a fully equipped kitchen and bigger living areas. In order to keep the nightly rate cost down for our guests, housekeeping does not come every day. We do offer daily maid service to all of guests for a fee. As for the amenities, we have a new amenity welcome bag that goes into all units. This new bag now includes paper towels. We have also changed to a different soap. If this unit did not work out for you, our staff at Crystal Sands would be happy to help you select a different unit. We have several 1st floor 1 bedroom units there.
