the only thing i would change is all the glass tables-not safe if you have toddlers-i was a nervous wreck. The room is beautiful but I wont stay in it again because my 4 yr old wanted to touch all the glass-so I will have to pay closer attn to details next year. this was my third year to stay in this location and I will be back next year but in a safer room for my family-this would be a great room for adults only. awesome view!! No dvd player in bedroom and that was the only thing I would change it was a very nice room.

We stayed here for 2 weeks as a mid winter break. The beach was fabulous - clean, white sand and not crowded.We walked on the beach every day. It is worth the extra money to rent a unit that is beach/gulf front. Nice indoor pool, outdoor pool was too cool to swim in, hot tub was great. There are planned activities - especially for snowbirds. Although the weather was cool - high 50's to mid 60's -it was fine for us - no snow! Beautiful blue skies. We rented a one bedroom unit - nicely furnished, well equipped and well kept. Not a lot of storage for extras - e.g. golf clubs, suitcases. Laundry facilities were not in the unit - washer/dryer were available on each floor for a cost. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Everything was conveniently located, although traffic is very heavy along Hwy.98. We plan to return here next year for a month.

Honeymoon
The trip was our honeymoon and our first trip to Destin. Our room at the Sundestin Beach Resort 00403 was just perfect for us. We loved the room decor. The kitchen provided all the amenities we needed, including a wine bottle opener. We cooked breakfast each morning but ate our evening meals out in order to get a flavor of the local cuisine. We had great beach access from the resort, too, and enjoyed the hot tub. We went during a good time of the year when most kids were not vacationing with their parents, which was nice. The staff at Sundestin were most accommodating. Since my husband and I are of a more mature age, we ordered our own wine and cheese basket and roses to be in the room when we arrrived. The staff made sure they were in our room when we got there. We would certainly recommend the Sundestin Beach Resort to anyone wanting to visit Destin and would choose it again for any future visits to Destin.
