Last minute Spring Break Getaway
Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at SunDestin Beach resort. I looked at a number of rooms before selecting 909, primarily due to the decor and location in the building. The pull out bed was not very comfortable (crappy mattress), but the rest of the room was great with a great view of the ocen (Just high enough, but not too high up the building). The facilities in general were adequate, however, the pool really should be heated up until the first of May as it was FREEZING the entire trip due to cool evening weather. I felt that the rates for food and drink in the small bar/restaurant were in line, but we only ate one meal there. The facility was not crowded until the last day of our stay, which was great!...although, on the last day I felt like I had been dropped into an episode of "Jersey Shores", as the people who showed up were all very loud, rude, and prototypical "EAST COAST"....not my cup of tea.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beaches were gorgeous, the water crystal clear, and the weather was great. We will definitely be back to Destin again!
