We love Destin and the Sundestin. We loved the view from our room. We had a corner room with lots of windows. The layout of the condo is good for families with children especially. We love the children's activities, especially movie night on the pool deck. Would recommend Sundestin. This was our third stay at Sundestin, and have been happy every time.

The hotel was very convenient for my family needs for 1 weeks stay. On the beach, full kitchen and close to shopping & recreation.
I was dissapointed that the room I reserved and had a confirmation 3 months in advance on the 3rd floor was not available and we were moved to the 14th floor without prior notification before our 16 hour trip. We should have been contacted for any changes made from our original reservation and deposit taken.

I stayed their July31 for 5 nights. If i knew the AC unit was on the balcony, i would of requested a different room. If you sat on the balcony, it was too noisy and it would blow hot air on you. At night you could not hear the waves hitting the beach because of the AC noise. THE room really did not get that cool at night, the coolest rooms were the bathrooms. I met someone else on the beach and they requested another room. My wife stayed in rm 101 the wk. before and said their room was not cool also. So i think the SUNDESTIN has a AC. problem. I WOULD NOT GET A ROOM WITH AC ON THE BALCONEY. This is a outdated BEACH RESORT.

We stay here for a conference, but took the time to enjoy the pool and beach. Great location for shopping at Sandestin Outlet Mall.
