This beautiful Gulf front vacation rental includes floor to ceiling patio doors in both the living room and master bedroom leading to your own private balcony so you can enjoy the white sandy beaches and the spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. In the family oriented dining area you will find a dining table that seats 6 and 4 bar stools at the kitchen bar. In the kitchen you will find a full sized refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, cook-top stove and oven and you will have all of the utensils you need to cook and prepare a hearty meal. There are 3 TV's, 2 DVD players & a stereo system in the living room.

Great Family place!
We loved our stay and since we had stayed at the Summer Place before we were not disappointed. We were able to watch the kids in the pool from the balcony. This is a great family place and all the staff was very kind and helpful to answer any question we might have. Definitely will return!

My first time staying at this location. We got lost looking for the entrance, but once we found it, we were very, very pleased. We will be going back, more bang for your buck, the two bedroom was actually large enough for the 7 of us that went, and the location of the property was a plus.

Location: A We were involved in an event at the convention center on the island and the property was very close.
Parking: A On site and secure.
View: A C'mon, its the beach.
Cleanliness: D We rented one unit that was an F and another that was a C. ResortQuest was supposed to send the cleaner back but never did. RQ knocked a few bucks off of the bill at the end of the stay.
Amenities: C Two average sized no frill pools. Work out room was more like work out closet. No WIFI. TVs were dated. No other amenitites on the grounds.
Check In/Check Out: F- . Absolutely the worst experience of any trip I've had. Off site check-in. ResortQuest staff acted like it was their first day on the job. Stood in line while two check-ins in front of me ended up leaving screaming and cussing. They never could get us checked in with the correct room rate but gave us the keys anyway and promised to call me and resolve the rate issue. They never called. After a few days I called back multiple times to resolve the issue and each time spoke to a different person with no clue of what I was contacting them about. Check out was the same. Stood behind two other check-outs and watched the staff struggle and the customers leave cussing and vowing never to return. Could not resolve the rate issue even at check out and I finally told the RQ employee that we had to hit the road and they could contact me at home. Took multiple phone calls after the trip to resolve the issues. VERY FRUSTRATING.

"I've been to Fort Walton Beach many times, and I've stayed at Summer Place often. This was by far the best vacation ever. Summer Place staff and Resort Quest staff made my travel a wonderful experience. The scenary was terrific, and the experience was memorable. I loved the balcony and the beach access. The room itself was very cozy.
The restaurants were accessible. I was able to get some work done on my laptop while sipping on a refreshing drink and listening to some great Buffett tunes. Overall, it was my best visit to Florida ever."
