The condo was very clean when we arrived, the receptionist very friendly. My daughter and I enjoyed the beach mostly over running around but we did enjoy eating seafood at three different places and all were very good. Local person recommended Dewey Destins just across the bridge in Destin on the rt and we thought it was our favorite of the three. Took a 5:30pm Dolphin cruise, very enjoyable, great sunset too. Did have some minor glitches, one with the wireless Internet, dryer not working in a timely manner, I had to kill a bug in the bathroom one night(but the pest control sprayer was at the complex next day and I was not the one who called about this issue). At check-in, no receipt due to computer problems. The weather put a damper on the parasailing reservation, but we still enjoyed the beach enormously. Overall, it was still a great vacation and would return again tomorrow if we could. the emerald coast is everything the brochures say it is. Two from Missouri

Had a great time. Loved easy beach access and sitting on balcony overlooking the pool and beach. Lots of seaweed this visit which haven't seen in previous stays. If you prefer staying in a smaller complex, you'll like this. Beach in front of this condo not crowded like it was with some of the other high-rise condos along the beach. Loved the pool and the fact that it's in back by the beach and not it front by the street like some other complexes. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We had perfect weather and can't wait to come back -- very relaxing trip.

Great place!
The only problem we had was the Queen bed. The mattress needs to be replaced. My wife and I have a King at home with very good mattress and box springs. It wasn't the size but the condition. Also, we found it strange that there was only 1 chair on balcony. We loved the pool and it was close to everything. We have been coming to the Destin area for 25 years. This was our 2nd trip this year. We have stayed at many places and like this unit as well as any.

questionable neighborhood, needs serious help with decor, very outdated, TV in bedroom didn't work, tub didn't drain from shower, curtain at shower hanging on 3 or 4 rings, called for repairs 2 days house phones didn't work, but nice view of ocean!!

We have stayed at the Veranda twice now and it was great both times! Its not a big complex and that makes for a very quiet and enjoyable stay. With awesome views of the gulf and being right on the beach I cant think of a place I would rather stay. We cant wait to get back so see ya soon!!
