Official viewing sites are the Mt. Pleasant Pier, Waterfront Park, The USS Yorktown and the Battery Area. Parade begins along Mt. Pleasant at 5:30pm. and ends in the Ashley Rive (after proceding down the Charleston side of the Cooper River) at approximately 7:30pm.

There are several locations around the Lowcountry, including the High Battery, from whence you can see the boats. Charleston's boat Captains proudly display their lighted and festive boats underway. Captains and Crews will be invited to the Captain's Party and Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place boats in both the power and sail categories with best-in-show award going to the highest scoring boat overall.
