Does ResortQuest provide shuttle service from the airport?
No, ResortQuest does not provide shuttle service from the airport, but transportation from both airports is available by prior arrangements. Call Guest Services at 1-800-877-0837. Rental cars are recommended while on the island.
What about transportation once on the islands?
There is no shuttle service on the islands. For guests arriving via plane, ResortQuest strongly recommends renting a car for guests’ stay on the islands. Bike rentals are also available, and there is plenty of dining, shopping, sporting activities and recreation within a short ride of most homes and villas. For car and bike rentals, call Guest Services at 1-800-877-0837.
When is check in?
Check-in is after 4 p.m. local time (Eastern). Keep in mind that summer Saturdays are the busiest check-in/out days. Housekeeping does everything possible to have the accommodations ready by 4 p.m., but occasionally accommodations might not be completely finished until 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. Keys will not be released until accommodations are cleaned and ready. Guests arriving earlier than 4 p.m. are encouraged to enjoy the beach, bike trails, restaurants, and shops while waiting.
How do I check-in if arriving after hours?
After hours check-in packets will be obtained via lockbox. Call Guest Services at 1-800-877-0837 for more information on late-arrival instructions.
What’s the parking situation at accommodations?
There is a strict vehicle pass limit for each property. Guests expecting to have more than 2 cars in the party should check with Guest Services (1-800-877-0837) to verify the number of cars permissible. Note: No motorcycles or golf carts allowed.
What is the phone number of my lodging?
Since accommodations might have to be assigned on the day of arrival, give family or friends the reservation number or the name on the reservation and they can call Guest Services (1-800-877-0837) toll-free and a staff member can provide the correct phone number once check-in is complete.
Where is the closest grocery store?
Isle of Palms, Wild Dunes and Sullivan’s Island: The Red & White grocery is located at the nearby Island Center, and there is a Piggly Wiggly grocery store just off the Isle of Palms Connector.
Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island: Newton Farms in Freshfields Village is conveniently located near ResortQuest’s front desk.
Note: Guests arriving early should not buy perishables until ResortQuest verifies that the accommodations are ready.
Can I have groceries delivered?
Yes, Guest Services provides Pre-Arrival Grocery Delivery Service. A local company can do the grocery shopping, including delivery and unpacking, prior to arrival. For a Pre-Arrival Equipment Order/Grocery Delivery Form, call 1-800-877-0837. Note: Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
What other convenience services are offered?
ResortQuest provides a mail drop, a post office nearby, FedEx services, photocopying, fax and answering machines, newspaper delivery and gift baskets. There is a charge for some of items. It is best to order in advance, since quantities of some items are limited.
Is there use of a pool?
Many homes and villas offer pools free of charge for guests renting in those areas. For guests without pool access at their accommodations on Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island or Wild Dunes, the East Shores Athletic Club offers an indoor pool for a minimal charge.
There are no public pools on Kiawah Island, but the complexes of Inlet Cove, Sparrow Pond, Greenslake Cottages, Duneside, the Village at Turtle Beach, Ocean Green, Silver Moss and Atlantic Beach Court.
Guests staying at accommodations on Seabrook Island without a pool can walk or bike to the Oceanfront Beach Club, which offers two swimming pools (including an indoor pool).
And always keep in mind the beach is free!

Can I book golf tee times?
Yes. There are 16 golf courses in the area, offering a golfing experience ranging from the skill sets of the beginner through the most advanced golfer. Call Guest Services at 1-800-877-0837 or email the Golf Coordinator at jamidon@resortquest.com to check availability and schedule advance tee time requests.
Can I rent beach equipment?
Yes, beach equipment such as beach chairs, umbrellas, beach carts, boogie boards and more can be rented by calling Isle of Palms Beach Chair Company at (843) 670-1009.
Can I rent bicycles?
Yes. To guarantee availability and delivery, it is advisable to order bike rentals at least two weeks prior to arrival. To reserve bikes and other equipment, fill out a Pre-Arrival Equipment Order Form. Call 1-800-877-0837 for assistance. Forms are also available online.
Can we rent boats?
Yes, guests can rent a variety of watercraft and kayaks for daily or hourly use by filling out the Pre-Arrival & Equipment Order Form or by referring to the information in the check-in package.
What do I need to know before fishing or crabbing?

Yes, items like cribs and high chairs can be rented. All items are delivered directly to guest’s accommodations and are picked up after departure. Crib linens are not included. Guest Services (1-800-877-8037) can provide child care recommendations.

Can we bring pets?
Many ResortQuest accommodations do allow pets. To be sure, guests should contact Guest Services at 1-800-877-0837.
What's included in the accommodations?
All accommodations offer central heating, air conditioning and a fully-equipped kitchen including dinnerware, flatware, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, microwave and an oven. Telephone, VCR and/or DVD player, AM/FM radio and basic cable TV are also standard. Most properties offer a washer and dryer. Starter sets of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing and laundry detergent are also provided. Initial setup of bed linens and bath towels are provided; extra items or daily maid service are available for a fee.
What items should I bring?
ResortQuest suggests you bring beach towels, coffee filters, any favorite or special food items or spices, tin foil, as well as any personal items such as sunblock, shampoo, lotion, a hair dryer, etc. Keep in mind that there is shopping nearby for any forgotten items.
Are there rules I need to know?
Yes, the Charleston Islands are communities with many full-time residents. Please be a courteous neighbor and respect the residents’ right to peace and quiet.
- Please refrain from any loud noise. Hours of quiet time are from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- The number of vehicles permitted and security passes issued will be strictly enforced. Be sure not to park on lawns or roadside grass. If roadside parking is available, please make sure to adhere to all posted rules and regulations.
- Bikes must be parked in designated areas and cannot be left on the street, in the yard, or in the driveway, even for short periods of time. Also, keep yards, decks, driveways and porches free of coolers, towels, etc.
- Charcoal grilling on wooden decks, patio, porches, balconies or stairways is strictly prohibited.
