Villa Features: Beachwalk 167 is a 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath villa located in the community of Shipyard Plantation on Hilton Head Island.

The large living room has a flat-screen TV, a wet bar and access to a large patio with a seating area overlooking the 5th hole of the Shipyard Galleon Golf Course and lagoon. The kitchen features large windows overlooking the outside patio, while a dining provides seating for 6. An entertainment room has a large sectional sofa and a large flat-screen TV. Additional amenities include wireless Internet, a grilling area and a complex pool.

The master bedroom has king-sized bedding, and bedroom two has queen-sized bedding. Bedroom three offers double twin-sized bedding, and each bedroom features a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and a full private bathroom.

Beachwalk 167 is located on an 800-acre gated resort community called Shipyard Plantation. Surrounded by trees draped in Spanish moss, numerous lagoons and varieties of semi-tropical birds and wildlife, the resort area has a private beach club, 27 holes of golf, a tennis club and twelve miles of bike paths throughout the plantation.

I stayed in this unit with my wife, 2 kids(7 and 10) and the in-laws last week. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out to read and/or stay together to eat, talk or watch TV in the condo. We really liked the place, it has a very smart design with an excellent use of space. The kitchen had plenty of plates, pots, pans, silverware, etc..Dishwasher, fridge, freezer, disposal, toaster, coffee maker, etc, all worked well. Flat screen TV's in every room all worked..The beds were all comfortable and clean..3.5 baths is very nice when you are staying for a week, no concerns or issues with the bathrooms(sinks, showers, toilets, drains all worked)..Actually, no worries at all in the condo, very clean, quiet, secure, functional and spacious..The neighborhood itself was also quiet, we had no rowdy people or loud parties to deal with..The pool was a pleasant surprise, a very large pool, always chairs available and plenty of space for the kids to swim and throw the football..There are both sunny and shaded areas around the pool to sit and relax..A very family friendly environment everywhere on the island, including the Beachwalk pool and the Shipyard beach area. We walked to the beach every day, a 10 minute walk door to sand, a walking path at the end of the cul-de-sac takes you directly there .The beach itself is beautiful, especially at low tide in the morning,.A very crowded area getting on and off the beach during peak times, but, it is July in HHI, you just need a little patience..The lagoon and golf course views off the back deck of the condo are a nice bonus,we were able to see some great wildlife in action each evening,including a gator and some wild looking birds..No problems parking in front of the condo each day and check in on day 1 was a breeze..The pictures and the condo description on this site are very accurate..The owners were very good to work with, they answered all of my questions promptly when I booked the place 6 months ago. I had no reason to call them after that but I assume the solid response time would have been the same. The owners have a local company handle all of the billing as well as the check in process, which I thought made it very secure and convenient..I had no hidden fees or charges to deal with.. That all said, I would strongly recommend this property for anyone needing room for 6 people.
