Arriving by Air

Two commercial airports serve the Hilton Head Island region.

• Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV)
• Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH)

Check-In Location and Driving Directions

Check in at the Pope Avenue Welcome Center for all Hilton Head Island properties. Check-in time is after 4:00pm. Check-out time is before 10:00am for all properties; guests who have not checked out by 10:00am will be subject to additional charges.

From the Savannah International Airport

• Exit the airport complex and drive north on I-95.
• Proceed to Exit 8/ Hwy. 278 East.
• See Interstate 95 below.

From the Hilton Head Island Airport

• Exit the airport and turn left at the stop sign onto Beach City Road.
• At the traffic light turn left onto Hwy 278 Business, the William Hilton Parkway.
• Proceed approximately 8 miles to the first traffic circle.
• Enter the circle, from the left-hand lane, and proceed around the circle exiting onto Pope Avenue.

Interstate 95

• Traveling North or South on I-95 proceed to Exit 8, Hwy. 278 East.
• Follow Hwy. 278 East to Hilton Head Island.
• After crossing the bridge onto the Island, there are two major routes to our Welcome Center. Choose either the Cross Island Parkway (Hwy. 278 By-Pass, toll road), which is the shortest route to our Welcome Center, or Hwy. 278 Business.

The Cross Island Parkway, Hwy. 278 By-Pass

$1.25 toll per 2-axle vehicle.
• From the bridge onto the Island, proceed in the left lane.
• At the 3-mile marker, Hwy. 278 will split and enter the Cross Island Pkwy. on the left (the road rises and crosses over Hwy. 278 Business).
• The Cross Island Pkwy. leads you through the toll plaza and directly onto Palmetto Bay Rd.
• Proceed to the first traffic circle and enter the circle, from the left lane, and proceed 1/2 way around the circle exiting onto Pope Avenue.

Hwy. 278 Business

• From the bridge onto the Island, stay on Hwy. 278 Business, and proceed approximately 12 miles to the first traffic circle.
• Enter the circle, from the left lane, and proceed 3/4 of the way around the circle exiting onto Pope Avenue.

Pope Avenue

• Proceed along Pope Avenue in the left lane through the first traffic light.
• Approximately 200 ft. before the second traffic light, make a left turn at Pope Avenue Executive Park Road.
• The ResortQuest office is located on the corner of Pope Avenue and Executive Park Road. This is directly across the street from St. Luke's Episcopal Church located on Pope Avenue.
