Church Groups in the Smoky Mountains
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of the best places in America to experience the beauty of creation. So, it's no surprise that the Smoky Mountains are a favorite destination for church groups across the Southeast, including youth group camps, pastoral leadership meetings, and men's and women's retreats.
A peaceful cabin in the Smokies is the perfect place to get away for quiet reflection or gather together for rich fellowship. Our large cabins in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, with up to 12 bedrooms plus private baths, can accommodate an entire group under one roof. Condominium resorts and smaller cabins in close proximity to one other are other excellent lodging choices for co-ed church groups traveling together.
Each fall Dollywood hosts the National Southern Gospel Celebration, and the annual Gaither Family Fest features performances by Southern Gospel vocalists and messages from inspirational speakers. Visitors can enjoy clean live entertainment at the Comedy Barn Theater in Pigeon Forge or the Smith Family Dinner Theater in Sevierville. Other family-friendly attractions such as Ober Gatlinburg and Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies offer loads of excitement and good wholesome fun.
