WonderWorks Pigeon Forge
The WonderWorks interactive museum is easy to pick out among the family-friendly attractions that line The Parkway in Pigeon Forge. The building itself looks like an upside-down mansion, as though a tornado had lifted it from its foundation. But the topsy-turvy exterior only hints at the fun inside WonderWorks.
WonderWorks features more than 100 interactive exhibits that entertain and educate. The "Wonders of Flight" tethered balloon experience offers amazing 360-degree views of the Smoky Mountains from 400 feet in the air. The Disaster Zone recreates the feeling of a 6.0 earthquake, and the Space Zone lets visitors explore a life-size replica of an astronaut space suit and the Mercury Capsule.
Other WonderWorks exhibits include a rock-climbing wall, bed of nails, Bubble Lab and the Far Out Illusion Gallery.
