2011/2012 Winter Season Winner: "The Pommard"
Presented by Cody Childers, representing Easy Street/Sky Blue
To make your own Pommard, mix up the following:
- 1.5 oz Calvados
- 1.5 oz Cinnamon simple syrup (see recipe below)
- 1.5 oz Freshly pressed unfiltered apple juice
- .5 oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Shake all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker and strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with a mixture of equal parts sugar and cinnamon. Garnish with a whole star anise.
Recipe for Cinnamon Simple Syrup:
- 2 Cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 Cup ground cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp ground cardamom
- 1 Tbsp ground clove
- 2 Cups boiling water
Sift dry ingredients together until completely mixed and pour into a medium saucepan. Add boiling water and stir over medium heat until mixed through. Allow to cool.

10. Go Cross-Country Skiing
Each winter, the Park City Golf Course is transformed into a series of trails that give young and old alike the opportunity to get a feel for the sport or to increase their own endurance and skill level. Much of the course is available to beginners, who can enjoy the new experience without worrying about overextending themselves.
