Lighthouse 1712

We are a family of 4 (5 and 7 year old boys) accompanied by grandma and grandpa. The good-the unit was spacious and clean. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the pools are huge. Despite it being a crowded weekend we still found space. We had no problem at all with Kaiser the whole process was very smooth. The bad: As for the unit the kitchen was sparsely stocked. It was no problem for us as we did not cook much. It would be a problem if you planned on cooking. The furniture was a bit old. Bring extra towels as they ones they provide are small and very thin. The third \\bedroom\\" (bunkroom) is smaller than the closet in the master bedroom. That was fine for our young boys. We picked this unit because there was a trundle and we really didn\'t want bunk beds. The problem was that the bottom trundle could not pull out all the way because the room was so small the bed hit the wall. The bed was then very narrow. OK for my 5 year old too small for anyone older. The balcony furniture was so old it was literally rotting. My son fell through a chair because it had rotted away and the leg of another literally fell off because of rust. Very disappointing the view from this unit balcony is beautiful but we could not enjoy it much because the balcony furniture is so disgusting. They allow people to take food and drinks INTO the pool. So we found pieces of sandwiches and spilled drinks floating in the water. My biggest complaint about the Lighthouse is the elevators. There are only two elevators that go to the 17th floor. When we arrived late Saturday night we waited OVER 20 minutes to get an elevator. My husband had to go down after midnight to bring the rest of our stuff up. Same problem when leaving the next Saturday. Returning from the beach or pool at lunch or at about 4 pm was a complete nightmare. The elevator situation was so bad I probably won\'t go back to the Lighthouse. It almost ruined our trip. To recap--the unit is nice and generally clean but not well stocked. Kaiser was great. The balcony furniture is just disgusting. The view and beach is beautiful but the elevators make this building more hassle than it is worth. "

Girlfriend trip 3/2016

The condo is very nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped although the pots need to be replaced. Had all the appliances you'd need and included lots of dishes and glassware. Two bedrooms are roomy and very well decorated as well as the two bathrooms. The third bedroom should be labeled as a seating room. It has a trundle bed that can't be opened because of the room size. I'm a small woman so it worked for me but with luggage on the floor (no closet) it's really tight. This would be a great room for a child but don't count on it as a bedroom for adults. In fact the full size laundry room next to this bedroom has more room. Seems the two rooms should be switched. The large balcony was wonderful! Great view of the beach and very comfortable with a large table and chairs. The elevators weren't super fast but it wasn't an issue for us. The onsite gym was small but met our needs along with a few other guests. The private access to and from the beach was great. We loved the undercover parking especially since it rained for two days while we were there. Overall we enjoyed the stay. It's a great location with restaurants and shopping not too far away.
