    The Winter Dew Tour Ski & Snowboard Competition and Festival returns to Breckenridge this December 13-16. Serving as a U.S. Olympic qualifying event for halfpipe and slopestyle snowboarding and skiing hopefuls, the event will see world-class extreme athletes competing on the mountain. Fans can get in on the action with tickets to concerts, awards ceremonies and even VIP packages.

Named for Ullr—that’s “Ooo-ler,” the Norse god of snow—this wacky winter celebration will include a world-record shot ski attempt, the Ullr Parade, the biggest bonfire in Breck and an ice plunge in Maggie Pond. Family-friendly events on Saturday include Family Snow Day at Carter Park and an afternoon ice skating party at Steven C. West Ice Arena.

    29th Annual International Snow Sculpture Championships

    The International Snow Sculpture Championships attract competitors from around the world to Breckenridge to sculpt extraordinary works of art from massive blocks of solid-packed snow standing 12 feet tall and weighing 25 tons—using only hand tools. The event is free and open to the public.
