What are your office hours?
We are open 7 days a week and are in the office Monday–Saturday 9AM – 5PM EST, and Sundays from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM EST.
How do I check-in?
If you have already received your keys or keyless code, please feel free to go straight to your rental property after 4:00 p.m. If you did not receive your check-in packet in the mail; please stop by our Welcome Center on the day of your arrival. Please note that the keyless code for your vacation rental will not be activated until 4:00 p.m.
When / how will I receive my welcome packet?
After we receive your full payment and a signed contract you will be mailed a welcome packet which includes your keys or keyless code, parking passes, and welcome information one to two weeks prior to arrival. If your reservation is closer to time and you will not receive the packet in time, we will hold it for you at our local office for you to pick up at arrival.
Where do we check-in?
Our office is located on the South end of the island at 21 Executive Park Rd. Should you arrive after hours (office hours vary by season) your check-in packet will be stored in a convenient lock box at our Welcome Center ― located just to the right of our front door. Please review your final confirmation letter for the lock box access code.
Can I get an early check-in and late check-out?
Unfortunately, we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs as we want to make sure that the rental property is prepared for the next arrival.
What amenities are provided for us at our vacation rental?
For your convenience, we will provide you with a “starter supply” to help jump start your vacation. Each property will be supplied with the following:
KITCHEN - Dishwashing Liquid • Dishwasher Detergent • One Roll of Paper Towels • Two Dish Towels •Two Dish Cloths • One Trash Bag
BEDROOM - All beds will be dressed with fresh linens. For properties with sleeper sofas, the sofa bed linens will be bagged and located on the sofa bed or nearby closet. Extra linens are available by request for an additional charge.
BATHROOM - Bath Soap • Shampoo • Conditioner • Body Lotion • Tissues • Toilet Tissue • Two Bath Towels* • One Hand Towel* • One Wash Cloth

Are beach towels and chairs included?

What kind of parking will be available at my vacation rental?
Depending on the rental, many properties have on-site parking. Whether it be a private driveway or a complex parking lot, you should have enough room for your party. As a reminder, none of these gated communities, complexes and homes permit boats, boat trailers, motorhomes, commercial vehicles, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, motored scooters, buses, mini-buses pull behinds and rooftop cargo or storage racks (i.e. Kayaks, Canoes, Bikes, etc.)
Do you need car passes to enter the gated communities?
Numerous complexes and gated communities on Hilton Head Island such as Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, and Shipyard require you to display a car pass at all times. The requested number of gate passes will be included in your check-in packet and will be only valid for the community in which you are staying. Please note that the number of car passes are limited based on property size. You can purchase a daily pass into Sea Pines for a small fee.
Do all your properties have free pool heat?
Some private homes offer pools that are able to be heated during Fall and Spring for an additional fee. Please call your local Vacation Specialist for the details regarding your specific vacation rental. Pool heat must be set up at least 14 days in advance.
Do all properties have a laundry room?
All properties have laundry access whether it is private or communal.
Do all of your vacation rentals have a private or complex grill?
Many rental properties do have grills but please feel free to contact your local Vacation Specialist to confirm the details regarding your unit.
Do you offer dog-friendly vacation rentals?
We do have a handful of dog-friendly accommodations year-round. Before bringing your dog, please check with a Vacation Specialist in advance regarding availability and/or restrictions and fees that apply. Please visit the Town of Hilton Head's website for details and hours of when dogs are permitted on the beach.
What are the special rules on Hilton Head Island during turtle hatching season?
For those staying in oceanfront homes and villas between the months of May to October — please turn off all outdoor lighting and shut all blinds. This will ensure that nesting sea turtles will not be disturbed.
What types of wildlife will I find on Hilton Head Island?
Hilton Head Island is a naturally beautiful environment along with an abundance of wildlife, including birds, deer, turtles, dolphins and alligators. Children and adults should use extreme caution around the edges of any waterways, as alligators may be hiding. In addition, there are many small critters such as snakes, palmetto bugs, cockroaches, and spiders. Please do not be alarmed if these “critters” occasionally wind up inside as they are attracted to damp, cool areas. Please do not feed alligators or any other wildlife that you may encounter.
Where can I rent bikes and baby equipment?
We highly recommend LowSea Bike, Beach, & Baby Rental! They always do a wonderful job at taking reservations in advance and will deliver bikes prior to your arrival.
Are there bike racks?
Yes, almost every property and business on the island provides bike racks nearby.

Are there rental car companies on the island?
Yes, there are car rentals here on the island and multiple car rental locations at all three airports listed above.
Do you offer travel insurance?
Wyndham offers Travel Protection Insurance, which can help during unforeseen circumstances that may interrupt your travel plans. It is strongly recommended because this benefit can protect you in case you have to cancel within the contract deadlines or if there is a mandatory hurricane evacuation (see contract for more details). What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation of reservation less than 60 days prior to arrival for homes and 30 days prior to arrival for villas will result in the loss of all funds. Trip Insurance is highly recommended and may be purchased through WVR HHI. Any changes to an existing reservation must occur 60 days prior to arrival for homes and 30 days prior to arrival for villas. Cancellations greater than 60 days prior to arrival for homes or 30 days prior to arrival for villas will result in a cancellation fee of 8.5% of the rental rate plus reservation fee. Extended stays (greater than 27 nights) have a 90 day policy.
