The good news is that this is a beautiful, updated house with nice furniture in a convenient location. I would stay here again. There were, however, a few things that should be fixed: 1) there are no curtains to block out light in the upstairs bedrooms, which is a problem in the morning and at night when traffic goes up and down the main street on the side of the house; 2) the WiFi is weak on the 2nd floor, which is a problem for kids...and thus for parents. The house either needs the router moved or an extended added; 3) the elevator seems to have a mind of its own, not working when called but moving spontaneously in the middle of the night (creepy); 4) the grill on the back deck is at the end of its useful life (and not the Weber indicated by the cover!); and finally, 5) the owners should consider leaving more cleaning products and basic condiments in the kitchen. The only other negative is that people should watch out for the Seabrook Island security, which sets speed traps immediately inside the gate, where the speed limit drops from 35 to 25. the ticket is $100 if you are going 11 mph over the speed limit, which means more or less the same speed that you were driving prior to reaching the gate. Also, the Seabrook Island security trucks have yellow lights, so are not immediately recognizable as givers of speeding tickets. Finally, the guys who work for security have a strange attitude or demeanor...I was handed my ticket with a schedule of fines and told by the security guy that "it was no big deal." I don't need some security guy to tell me that my $100 ticket for failing to immediately change my speed is "no big deal." That's not his judgment to make and I was offended. The whole episode left a bad taste in my mouth and made me wish I had chosen to stay on Kiawah instead. All of that said, the island is beautiful and the house is nice and large.

2104 Royal Pine is a luxurious five bedroom, three and a half bath home just inside the gates of the beautiful island community of Seabrook Island that can easily sleep 12 people. Guests enjoy wireless internet access. Square Feet 3302.
Filled with southern charm, this home has many lavish features including arched doorways, wainscot paneling, plantation shutters and crown molding. The ground level there is a game room with a large flat screen TV, DVD player, a minibar with bar seating for 2 and a queen sleeper sofa. An outdoor shower for a quick rinse after a day at the beach is conveniently off the game room. (The garage is not available for guests.)
An outdoor double-staircase leads to the elegant main entry with marble flooring and high raising ceiling. The main living areas are on the first floor. To the right is a den with hardwood flooring, wood paneled walls with French doors to the front porch and a TV and DVD player. A half bath is off the den. The main living room has high vaulted ceilings and a wall of French doors which allow plentiful natural light and access to the screened porch. The living area also has a large flat screen TV with surround sound, bar, and a gas fireplace. The formal dining room features seating for six, wainscot paneling and French doors to the front porch. The gourmet kitchen with custom cabinets, wood flooring, and granite counters with stainless steel appliances including a gas stove. The kitchen also has a breakfast nook that can seat 6 and is surrounded by windows. The home has plenty of outdoor living space, with not only the front porch, but a screened porch and deck on the rear of the home. The screened porch has seating for five and the deck has a patio dining set with seating for six.
The master suite is on the first floor also. The master suite has queen bed and French doors that provide access to the screened porch. The luxurious master bath offers a jetted tub, a separate large walk-in steam shower, and 2 separate vanities.
The remaining bedrooms are located on the second floor. The first bedroom on this floor has a queen bed while the next bedroom has full bed; both rooms share the hall bath. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and the fifth bedroom, accessible through the fourth bedroom, offers a set of twin bunk beds, perfect for a family with small children. These bedrooms have a private bath.
The Lake House at Seabrook, offered by the Seabrook Island Property Owners Association, gives guests access to an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, fitness classes and library. Guests have access to these amenities for additional usage charges. The outdoor pool at the Lake House is available free of charge for all Seabrook guests. To access these facilities, a Lake House Amenity Card is required, and additional fees may apply based on the activity you choose to use.
The Club at Seabrook allows guest access to two championship golf courses, the Racquet Club for tennis, the Equestrian Center, ocean front pool complex, and all dining options inside the security gate. To access these facilities a Club Amenity Card is required. Each property is individually owned and therefore each owner may have different levels of access to the Club facilities.
2104 Royal Pine has 'Full' Club access, which means that rental guests may pick up Amenity Access cards from the Amenity Office at no additional cost. Usage fees for some amenities and a card deposit will apply.
Each home includes free parking, screened porch or deck, initial supply of linens and towels, washer and dryer, color cable TV, air conditioning, starter supply of paper products and detergents, fully equipped kitchen with dinnerware, flatware, pots and pans, plus local telephone service and 24-hour security in a gated community.
