Being at the doorstep to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park means you are at the start of your wilderness adventure, with just over 850 miles of hiking and biking trails in every direction around you, the days can fly by with new exploration each day. The Rainbow Falls Trail is a challenging but rewarding hike, rich with waterfalls, wildflowers and old-growth forest. Drive up high to the half mile walk to Clingmans Dome for a 360 degree breathtaking view at one of the highest points of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Ease on down the road and find Gatlinburg, with attractions for everyone, from the many mini-golf options to the adventures offered at Gatlinburg Zipline. Discover the Appalachian Mountain history of moonshine production, and find a few stops to try the potent spirits at Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery or Doc Collier Moonshine.
