The complex is one mile east of the aerial tram and skate rink at Ober Gatlinburg and one mile north of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike portions of the Appalachian Trail, fish in 2,900 miles of streams, and observe wildlife in Cades Cove. Pigeon Forge, only eight miles north, is home to Dolly Parton's Dollywood, The Island in Pigeon Forge, and several renowned dinner theaters as well.
