Cabin with a view

Modern amenities meet rustic charm with a killer view. Huge, but cozy master, open floor plan and loft all overlook the treeetops and mountain clouds. Would give it 5 stars but the pullout couch needs replaced. An easy fix for this homey retreat. Accomdated our family of 5 with plenty of room to spread out, play pool upstairs and lots natural light.

Awesome

Spent a few days here for our honeymoon. It was so peaceful. It was tucked off the path of the tourist strip but still only took about 10 minutes to get to anything we wanted to do so no back and forth travel time lost. The gas grill was great, allowed us to save a few dollars grilling in one night. Kitchen fully stocked made it easy to cook our own breakfast each morning. Plenty of space, nice balcony view, washer dryer, pool table. Couldn't have really asked for more to be honest.

Decent cabin, decent view, BUT...

The bed was atrocious. The bed was so old and horribly uncomfortable that we had to go to walmart and buy a $170 mattress topper to be able to sleep. Then when trying to get the manager to call us back to talk about reimbursing us for the inconvenience and cost of the mattress topper, she took 2 days to respond. She finally did reimburse us for the cost of the topper after we had finished our stay and had gotten home. I would not recommend staying here unless they have put in a new bed. If they have, then it would be a decent place to stay.

Moonlight Retreat

We enjoyed the cabin. The view was great. Cabin was outstanding. It was more than we expected. We really liked the secure gate to the cabin area.

Moonlight Retreat

The cabin was absolutely amazing! The views were gorgeous and the cabin was very clean. The road up to the cabin was extremely steep, I'm glad we had an SUV to make it up the hill. Parking was a little tight and would have been hard if there were people staying at the cabin next to us, but thankfully it was empty during the time we were there. My husband loved that the cabin had a pool table in the loft area and we played many games of pool. The hot tub was amazing and at the perfect temperature. I received an email with directions and check-in/out process a few days before our arrival. The door actually had a key pad, which was extremely nice so we didn't have to check in or out if we didn't want to, which was nice.

Moonlight Retreat

Property was very well kept! Great location just up the mountain from the last light in Pigeon Forge. Easy access in and out. Parking was a little tight but we have a large extended length SUV. Road up to the cabin is very steep. Directions from the booking agency were good but there is a main entrance to the Sherwood Forest property and another entrance right beside each other. We took the first entrance which was not the main entrance therefore our directions to the actual cabin were wrong. Cabin has a hot tub and pool table. Only one bedroom but our two children slept on the pull out couch in the living room and loved it. If you plan on doing much cooking at the cabin you should check the website for what cookware and utensils are available. Cabin does have a grill although we didn't use it. Keypad acces makes it really easy to get in and out of the cabin and they send you an access code prior to your arrival. No need to stop at the office to check in or out. Extremely convenient especially since we arove late in the evening. I would highly recommend this property to anyone lookin for a cabin that is a little off the beaten path. A place to get away from the crowds and not have to deal with the people or noise in a hotel. We even saw a small black bear right at the end of our road as we were entering the property! Kids loved it!!!
